So I am fully aware of the fact that this post is long overdue and with the notation that Thanksgiving is indeed very over, we jump into the outrageous foodie month that November was and is. With Thanksgiving as the main attraction, its nice to know that New York has a plethora of food options to offer aside from your classic gravy overload. Yes, I did take advantage of said plethora. So, yes, it is halfway through November but I felt as if October deserved a chance, the amazing food month that it was. Apples, farmers markets, donuts, and the most amazing dining experience of my life. October was the perfect weather month, not freezing but also not Florida, and was full of food adventures. I even jetted home for a weekend to speak at District 7 FSPA where I received so much puppy love (from dogs and family alike) and enjoyed the luxuries of a fully stocked kitchen. November already has many foodie dreams to share, but here are my most memorable October moments: Doughnut Plant and the Union Square Market Doughnut Plant. So I haven’t quite been in New York for a month, but you can trust that I am absolutely taking advantage of all the food. Like, the entire city of New York knows I am here and is clearly ready to fulfill my foodie dreams. I do have a list. A really awesome list of foods and places I want to try because I deserve it because I’ve taken my lunch to work everyday because I can, mom. Maaaahhhmmmmmm…. Pommes Frites I think it should be a pretty standard idea that if a restaurant serves 3 things or less on their menu, it’s gonna be a damn good three things or less. Pommes Frites?
