SusanPalooza 2015 Recap Sponsored by KIND Snacks

imgresMy mother, Susan, is the best. She is funny, supportive, creative and she is now 60 years old. Fabulously 60, I might add. When we talked about her birthday celebration earlier this year, her words were: “Let’s go to San Francisco and invite all my friends and rent a big house… but we can’t rent the house in Sausalito or people will think I’m dying!”

kind_bar_almondapricot_2My mother: the fabulously 60 California girl.

So, we did just that. We invited all her friends and family, rented a giant house in Half Moon Bay and took Northern California the Johnson Girl way (which, of course, is always focused on food). We visited tide pools, ate chowder at the wharf, and relaxed with the people we love.

Thanks to Kind Snacks, the Susan party brigade went strong all weekend. Her favorites, included in the SusanPalooza gift bags, were Salted Caramel Popped and the Almond and Apricot Bars.  Would you like a box of KIND snacks to fuel your party weekend? Read through the post and enter for a chance to win!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate mom and the amazing woman she is! It was incredible to see all of the relationships she has built over the years and I hope for my RachelPalooza to have friends there I’ve known for decades. To Susan!

  1. Yum!! Love KIND snacks. Their Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate bars are like love in my mouth. Really wanna try the popped version!

P.S. That jacuzzi tub full of booze is too much. Your family knows how to do it right. 😉
