Monday, April 7 / Guests: 20 / Location: Tallahassee, FL
In order to celebrate the completion of my thesis and publication of Stupid Good: A Shut Up and Cook Book, the Florida State Art Department invited me to host a cocktail party for trustees and board members. I selected a mediterranean theme and developed small bite recipes that required no plating. The biggest hits were the Kalamata Deviled Eggs and my favorite part was the Vintage Port a guest brought. I paired it with aged Stilton and manchego cheeses. The whole budget for the party costed $150.
Greek Chicken Kebabs
Zucchini & Goat Cheese Crostini
Kalamata Olive Deviled Eggs
Feta & Watermelon Skewers
Baklava Custard Cups with Pistachio
Vintage Port Cheese Pairings
